A World of Wonder at Parkmoor Elementary!

What a delightful visit I had at Parkmoor Elementary School! A huge thank you to Dr. Charmaine L. Campbell for inviting me to share my stories with her amazing students. It was an absolute pleasure to meet a fellow children’s author (be sure to check out Dr. Campbell’s book, “Shermon Lee’s Possibilities”!).

This visit focused on the bright and curious minds of the kindergarten class. Reading my book, “Jabez Jabez: What Do You See?” sparked their imaginations and ignited a sense of wonder in the classroom. The students actively participated, pointing out all sorts of interesting details in the illustrations and asking insightful questions.

Here’s what made this visit so special:

  • Witnessing the students’ boundless curiosity and excitement about exploring the world around them.
  • Engaging in discussions about colors, shapes, and all the amazing things they can see!
  • Experiencing their energetic participation and creative interpretations of the story.

It’s so important to nurture a child’s natural curiosity and love of learning at a young age. Seeing the spark of wonder in the kindergarteners’ eyes was truly inspiring, and I’m confident they will continue to explore the world with open minds and hearts.

Thank you again to Dr. Campbell and the exceptional kindergarten class at Parkmoor Elementary!

I can’t wait to share the magic of storytelling with more young readers in the future!
