Inspiring Young Dreamers at Berwick Alternative K-8 School!

What a fantastic day I recently had visiting the wonderful students and staff at Berwick Alternative K-8 School! I had the privilege of spending time with Mrs. Johnson’s Scholars in the 3rd grade, and it was an absolute joy to share my children’s book, “Jacobi Jacobi: What Can I Be?”

The students were incredibly engaged and enthusiastic from the very beginning. Their energy and curiosity were infectious, making the entire experience truly heartwarming. Reading aloud “Jacobi Jacobi” sparked lively discussions about potential careers, dreams for the future, and the importance of pursuing your passions.

The 3rd graders’ thoughtful questions and imaginative responses left me feeling inspired. It was clear that these young minds are brimming with potential, and their eagerness to learn was truly inspiring. It’s these kinds of interactions that remind me of the power of storytelling and the importance of fostering a love for reading in children.

Here were some of the highlights of my visit:

  • Witnessing the students’ excitement about exploring different career paths.
  • Engaging in lively discussions about their dreams and aspirations.
  • Experiencing their enthusiastic participation throughout the reading session.

A huge thank you to Mrs. Johnson for welcoming me into her classroom and creating such a warm and positive learning environment. Her dedication to her students truly shines through, and I’m sure all of her Scholars will go on to achieve incredible things!

This visit was a truly enriching experience, and I can’t wait to share my stories with more young dreamers in the future!
